QHSE, Quality & Compliance with procedure
Your offshore, port, and inland waterway maritime projects must be carried out in full compliance with strict safety procedures. At AMS, we are committed to ensuring that all our operations adhere to applicable international, EU, and French regulatory frameworks — including UNCLOS, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, LL66, STCW, MLC 2006, GMDSS, and more. Where required, we also comply with industry-specific standards such as MASE, IMCA, and GWO.

Introduction: The Seafarer and Their Safety Competencies
In line with maritime tradition, before being a specialist in their assigned role aboard, a seafarer is first and foremost someone who possesses strong, constant safety skills, including emergency response capabilities on board a vessel. These skills are maintained and enhanced through a structured and rigorous training program.
Our Health, Safety, and Environment Policy
People are the primary driving force behind AMS’s service company. By prioritizing safety and quality of work life, AMS sets “ZERO ACCIDENTS” as the cornerstone of its policy, carried out with the utmost respect for the natural environment.
Our objectives are to:
- Eliminate serious accidents (human, environmental, and material).
- Control risks.
- Protect health and the environment.

Our commitments
In a continuous improvement approach, every anomaly, malfunction, or incident is thoroughly analyzed to develop corrective measures that prevent recurrence.
Safety meetings, risk assessments, root cause analyses, lessons learned, ongoing research into best practices, simulations, and training exercises are all essential tools used to define and implement these measures.
Each maritime mission has its own HSE procedure
For every maritime mission, and depending on our clients’ requirements (HSE plan, RAMS – Risk Assessment & Method Statement, HSE specifications for ship services, etc.), a tailored procedure is defined to meet operational needs and is implemented by our crews.
Our QHSE manager is responsible for implementing and enforcing AMS’s QHSE policy across all vessels and personnel engaged in serving our clients.
Everyone is trained in these procedures and best safety practices, all documented in the company’s HSE Management Manual, prepared in accordance with the CODE I.S.M. guidelines.
